I grew up always having a family dog in the house. Our dogs were like a family member but they seemed to get away with more than my brother Dave and I did. They put their feet on the furniture, ran in the house, barked back, left the yard without telling anyone and always marked up Moms clean windows.

I now have a dog of my own, “Abby”, and understand the power they possess when they give us that unconditional love. If my brother and I would have had that kind of magic growing up we wouldn’t have wasted so much time in trouble.
